Jal Merro interview

The limited portion of green spaces on Menelik II street south of the Grand Palace and east of the Jubilee Place where I used to play and ride bikes more than five decades prior with my companions have been fenced off for quite a long time, probably for "improvement" purposes.

I can never comprehend the malicious personality that denies residents the privilege to appreciate a fragment of God's acceptable green earth!

Maybe the most stunning and disastrous minute for me was the time I saw a few wedding parties taking pictures on the walkway outside the dividers of the Sheraton Hotel not long after I left Unity Park. How amusing! I was unable to understand that walkway is the main "green space" in the entire city for youthful ladies and grooms to take their wedding pictures. What a wanton wrongdoing against youthful recently marries.
