Title's contemporary Alexander 'Skunder' Boghossian was prepared in London and Paris, and was the main contemporary African craftsman to be gathered by the Muse d'Art Modern in Paris (1963) and the Museum of Modern Art in New York (1965). He moved back to Ethiopia in 1966 and trained at the School of Fine Arts in Addis Ababa (later renamed Skunder Boghossian College of Performing and Visual Arts). Skunder moved to the USA in 1970, where he instructed at the Atlanta Center for Black Art and the Howard University from 1972. At the point when common war started in Ethiopia in 1974, Skunder could not return anymore, and lived in a state of banishment until his passing in 2003.
