A few representatives at the Addis Ababa air terminal said they saw numerous weapons flights leave for Eritrea every day at the start of the contention. They likewise talked about flights conveying weapons from Eritrea back to Ethiopia. It's muddled why combat hardware were being moved back to Ethiopia. 

 

One said they saw tanks and weighty gunnery stacked onto planes coming to Addis Ababa, while little arms - mortars, launchers - were dispatched to Asmara. Representatives told CNN they accepted the more modest weaponry were being shipped off Asmara to arm Eritrean soldiers.

In June, photographs circled via web-based media stages showing boxes containing mortars on board an Ethiopian Airlines flight and similar cases being stacked on the plane in Massawa, Eritrea.
