Meles Zenawi Asres was an Ethiopian government official who was the thirteenth Prime Minister of Ethiopia from 1995 to his demise in 2012. From 1989, he was the executive of the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF), and the leader of the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) since its development in 1991.
