The Egyptian government attempted to reactivate the Nile Basin Initiative Agreement (Cooperative Framework Agreement), from which Egypt pulled back in 2010 in challenge the consenting to of the arrangement which is otherwise called Entente Agreement, by six Nile Basin nations (Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, Burundi and Ethiopia). Sis on 6 December held a gathering in Cairo with pastors from Sudan, South Sudan, Tanzania, Burundi and Uganda, who were taking an interest in the National Water Research Center's meeting on water manageability – in endeavor to upgrade relations and reactivate collaboration among the Nile bowl nations.
