With Chief Justice John Roberts joining his liberal partners to creator the sentiment, the Supreme Court said that the organization's choice to revoke DACA damaged the Administrative Procedure Act (APA), which sets out rule making systems for government offices. 

 

"We don't choose whether DACA or its rescission are sound approaches. 'The astuteness' of those choices 'is none of our anxiety,'" Roberts wrote as he would like to think. "We address just whether the organization agreed to the procedural necessity that it give a contemplated clarification to its activity."
