The World Health Organization says it would keep on supporting the Democratic Republic of Congo to fight a new episode of the savage Ebola viral sickness.

On Monday, Congolese wellbeing specialists reported six cases in the north close Mbandaka in the Equatuer region, with four passings.

"The enhanced one is on the opposite side of the DRC, Western DRC. WHO will keep supporting DRC in handling Ebola, just as reacting to COVID-19, and the world's biggest measles flare-up", Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization said.

This denotes the second time Ebola has hit Equateur territory in the same number of years. A flare-up in 2018 killed 33 individuals before the illness was managed surprisingly fast there.

The DRC still can't seem to pronounce an official end to Ebola in its grieved east, where in any event 2,243 individuals have kicked the bucket since the pestilence started in August 2018. The Central African country is now managing the coronavirus pandemic.
